Launched in January 2019, The Kilt Company website is built on WordPress and required some large customisations. I had to develop a few custom plugins for this site including the Tartan Finder and Hire Outfit configurator.

The Kilt Company allows people to Hire or Buy a kilt or full highland outfit, catering for all budgets.

Aberfeldy Tablet is a delicious homemade melt in the mouth confectionery – a creamy taste and crumbly texture with a delicate crunch and rich caramel colour.

You may think you have tasted good tablet, but you haven’t tasted the best until you have tried Aberfeldy Tablet.

A small e-commerce website, which at the time of writing this, sells only a single product. More products will be coming soon.

Morton’s Milk is produced at Auchinbay Farm which is situated in the rural parish of Ochiltree in Ayrshire where we produce premium milk from our herd of happy cows.

They graze on lush green grass all summer and sleep indoors on comfy cow mattresses during the winter.

The wellbeing of our cows is key to producing high quality nutritious milk.

We pasteurise our milk on the farm so whether you choose full fat or semi skimmed you can always be sure of a delicious taste experience.

Alex McDonald Car Sales are a family run father & son business  established in 1986. Alex established the company back in 86 starting at the bottom of the car trade, quickly moving through the ranks and never looked back,

Alex’s youngest son of 3 Robert joined the company in 2000 learning the trade the same way his father has and today father and son are both at the helm.

They cater for all brands of vehicles, cars & vans, and also offer a range of services from sales, servicing,  mechanical work, MOTS and vehicle Diagnostics.

This project included a number of customisations and the development of a custom Finance Calculator.

Real Care Agency is a family owned home care agency.  They are based locally and provide comprehensive around the clock home care throughout East Kilbride and the surrounding areas.  The Company provides quality home care and domiciliary services, and is committed to excellence in care at home.

A small website with some simple customisations to styling and user interactivity.

Sandra is a professional Spanish teacher based in East Kilbride.

She offers group Spanish lessons, one to one lessons and children’s Spanish lessons at exceptionally low prices.

This is a small website that only required a few customisations to the styling of the website and for user interactivity.

In 2014 in order to update my skill-set, I was given time away from my job as a college lecturer to work with Kevin Slowey, a freelance web developer based in Hamilton.

The main project I worked on was the new Tannoy.com website.

Please Note: I did not work on the Residential and Studio sections of this website. I do not want to take credit for the hard work of others.

I developed a new theme for the college’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which runs on the Moodle system.

I’m afraid you need to be either a staff member or student of the college to view a live version of this site.

Again, working with Kevin Slowey, we developed an E-Quote system for Scottish Power.

This system is used by the company internally by their contracted maintenance engineers and is not publicly available on the Web.
